At MR FISH AQUA ZOO, it’s more than just fun, it’s an educational adventure! Students and pupils will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience filled with thrilling aquatic wonders and practical insights aligned with the Fisheries syllabus of the Lagos State Entrepreneurial Development Programme.

Our program helps students understand the real-world relevance of aquatic science and entrepreneurship:
1. Explore Fisheries as a Business
Students are introduced to income-generating pathways in the fisheries sector, such as:
– Trawling
– Fish farming
– Aquarium & fountain construction
– Ornamental fish breeding
– Fish exportation
2. Encounter 70+ Live Fish Species
We house over 70 species of both edible and ornamental fish, complete with engaging facts about:
– Habitats
– Behavior
– Biological significance
3. Live Aquatic Plants & Environmental Science
See aquatic plants thriving in our Riverside Aquascaping exhibit featuring real-time demonstrations of:
– Photosynthesis
– Nitrogen & oxygen cycles
– Aquatic ecosystem simulation
4. Learn from Functional Aquaculture Systems
– Observe Water Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (WRAS)
– Understand beneficial bacteria symbiosis (Nitrosomonas & Nitrobacter)
– View systems used in commercial fish farming
5. Nat Geo Wild’ Oddball Experience
Engage students with our Oddballs Gallery, featuring rare and fascinating fish, including:
– A fish that can survive out of water for 4 years
– The world’s most expensive fish (₦34 million)
– A Nigerian fish known as the most sensitive living organism
– A specie with a 1-year life span
– The only fish that lives in fresh, brackish, and salt water
– A fish that can walk, run, and climb trees
– A live freshwater shark
Every Student Goes Home with a Gift!
Each child receives a Mini Aquarium including:
– A livebearing fish (does not lay eggs)
– Live aquatic plants
– Fish flakes (enough for 3 months)
Gate Fee: ₦4,000 per Student
This covers:
– Full Aqua Zoo access
